You will feel the magical, mythical atmosphere spread all around which has enchanted visitors fromall over the world for years and years.Settled on a hill of the Monte Tauro, Taormina dominates two grand, sweeping bays below and onthe southern side, the top of Mount Etna, the European highest active volcano, often capped with snow,offering to the visitors a breathtaking, dramatic and memorable view over almost one hundred miles ofMediterranean sea.Taormina really seems to be born as a tourist resort since past times, when ancient people like theSicels, Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Saracens, Arabs, Normans and Spaniards chose it as their residentialsite thank to its favourable position, mild climate and magic atmosphere.This is not the only reason that prompted Vivien and Daniele to come to Taormina from Monaco for theirelopement, the main reason is that Daniele is a Sicilian boy whose parents emigrated to Germany whenhe was a child and coming to his homeland and bonding with his beloved Vivien is something that onlya true Italian can understand. The attachment to our roots is in our deepest being and then how can youblame him, Sicily is unique and Taormina is a real gem.I took advantage of this job to come to Sicily with my sister, the only person I would travel with anywherein the world, and spending these 3 days in lightheartedness and laughter gave me a moment of true happiness.Enjoy the story
